Guidelines of ‘INTERRACIAL UNDERGROUND’
Everybody engaging in interracial communities appear to have a specific ‘love the other’. ‘Otherness’ is within fact embodied in stereotypes: ”stereotypical pictures for the social other are becoming enmeshed with intimate personal desire – which we usually respect as profoundly specific” (Piller, 2011, p. 112). Because I have a desire for the culture and race of ‘the other’ and would have met my boyfriend there, I would have been disappointed: our culture, way of life, etc. Is not that different if I would have signed up for one of these communities. In a world that is superdiverse this has become highly complicated to fairly share battle or ethnicities.
